Now Introducing Limitless Security Service - are you secure?

We know who we are, do you?

Founded in 2004, Number1Host.net started out as a personal project of then high school student Daniel McAlonan. Number1Host.net (N1H) stayed as it was founded for over a year as a client of various reseller hosts. All of these hosts offered "unlimited" or "unmetered" service, and they were chosen to because of their amazing promises they provided.

As is common knowledge today, many unlimited hosts simply can't provide the type of service they offer. This was indeed the case for N1H which incurred massive periods of downtime due to unreliable hosts.

Fed up with downtime, Daniel decided to make the jump from being a reseller himself to providing reseller hosting via his own dedicated server in 2005. N1H stayed more or less stagnant through 2005 only changing designs a few times. The company still was unable to attract much of a customer base because of the massive oversaturation of the market with megahosts offering crazy features as super low prices. It was impossible for such a small company to compete.

In 2005 and 2006, N1H saw the addition of many new services to complement its hosting offering. Amongst these services included cPanel Installation, Server Management, and an Server Security. At this time, PHP 5.0.5 was all the rage and could be yours as part of our $99.99 Security Service. After the addition of these services, the company continued quietly on into 2007 with few customers.

The problem with the N1H business plan was that the company already existed - at thousands of places all over the web. In late 2007, the team leading N1H decided that a change was needed.

In December 2007, the domain LimitlessHosting.net was registered, a small infantile site was placed on the web and killer pre-launch deals were posted on forums and various websites all around the web.

LimitlessHosting was founded and still operates on two winning principles:

January 1, 2008 - LimitlessHosting.net (LLH) made it's official public launch. With the basic website and ordering system in place and killer deals available, LLH was an immediate hit.

Number1Host.net and LimitlessHosting.net co-existed for some time until a few months into 2008. Seeing the success of LLH, N1H was shut down and all clients were merged into LLH.

In early March, a public forum was added to enhance communication from staff to customers and between customers themselves.

At the time of launch and up until May, LLH only offered only hosting until it added an enhanced version of the Platinum Security Service that was offered at N1H. This new package was dubbed Limitless Security Service.

Building on the added Limitless Security Service and already supreme hosting,  there are plans to add even more features in the coming summer months of 2008.
